John Magee is senior vice president of Program Performance at ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø. Mr. Magee is responsible for monitoring and measuring program health across ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø to drive excellence in customer service, employee engagement, technical innovation, and business growth.
Partnering with ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø’ operational leaders and corporate support team leaders, Mr. Magee identifies opportunities for improvement and leads improvement initiatives through coaching, mentoring, and identifying and relaying best practices.
Mr. Magee’s 35-plus years of experience include his supporting the Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense Organization (JIAMDO) and the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (Aegis BMD) program of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). He supported the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations as technical director in fleet readiness, war games and exercises, ballistic missile defense and operations. He also served the Program Executive Office for Theater Surface Combatants (PEO TSC) as the DDG 51 production contract manager.
Mr. Magee served in the Navy with operational tours aboard the USS Constellation (CV 64), USS Chosin (CG 65), and USS Monterey (CG 61) and ashore as the PEO Surface Combatants Operational Readiness officer and chief of staff. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California.
