Vice President, Civilian Health Accounts

TOM LAPATO

Vice President for Civilian Health Accounts Tom Lapato oversees Veteran Affairs (VA) and Health and Human Services accounts at ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø. His work supports the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) executive program offices, VA’s Office of Information Technology, the Food and Drug Administration, National Institutes of Health, and dozens of other departments and offices.

Mr. Lapato brings extensive experience in program management, process reengineering, improvement and change management, and communication to his oversight of all ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø civilian health accounts. He has provided rapid response for numerous Office of Healthcare Transformation efforts, including MyVA Access, Veterans Community Care Program, and Government Accountability Office High Risk.

Mr. Lapato joined ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø in 2021 with the company’s acquisition of the healthcare consulting and data analytics firm ERPi. As a vice president with ERPi, he managed $245M of work, providing strategic planning, program management, and analyses for VHA strategic initiatives. He has held various roles at PwC, Booz Allen Hamilton, Institute for Defense Analysis, KPMG, and Northrop Grumman, and was recognized as a 2021 FedHealthIT100 honoree.

Mr. Lapato holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Science degree in national resource strategy from the Eisenhower School, National Defense University. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Maryland College, where he earned Phi Beta Kappa recognition. At Western Maryland, he was also named Division III Scholar-Athlete of the Year and a finalist for the Gagliardi Trophy, presented annually to the outstanding player in NCAA Division III football.
